Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Certified Integrative Mental Health Practitioner

Hi, I’m Narcisa,
Welcome to my practice. I am Narcisa Sierra, owner of Footsteps To Wellness. As a trauma-informed psychotherapist, I am passionate about helping others heal from life’s challenges and providing you with the support you need to make meaningful changes in your life.
Therapy should be a safe place where you genuinely feel seen, heard, and understood - without judgment. I understand how challenging it can be to decide to enter therapy. It is important to me that you feel comfortable as you discuss the not-so-comfortable. I am warm, down-to-earth, and authentic with all my clients. The best therapeutic results come from building a genuine connection with someone who is deeply invested in your well-being, and I am dedicated to being that person for you.
I understand that while we may struggle with many of the same issues, we are all unique individuals. I tailor my therapeutic approach with this in mind, so my approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and based on your individual needs. I draw upon techniques and theories from different schools of thought to create a more personalized plan for you. This approach can include techniques from traditional talk therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, CBT, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS informed), and somatic interventions. Your well-being is best supported by addressing your total health - mind, body, and spirit. Our work together will focus on treating you as a whole person, not just a collection of symptoms and diagnoses.
As a therapist, I continually enhance my knowledge and clinical skills through ongoing training. I am also committed to doing my own inner work. I understand how challenging healing work can be, and I never ask my clients to go somewhere I have not gone myself. I'm here to walk alongside you and support you through the process.

Am I the right therapist for you?
Is this You?
I work with adults who grew up feeling unseen, unheard, or over-responsible in their families. Many of my clients are adult children of emotionally immature parents, have experienced toxic family dynamics, or carry the weight of childhood trauma and attachment wounds.
They come to me motivated to do the deep inner work — to understand what lies beneath their anxiety, depression, or self-defeating patterns.
I also support those who want to break old relationship cycles, explore their attachment styles, and learn how to create healthier, more fulfilling connections.
Together, we focus on building skills to regulate emotions, reduce trauma-related symptoms, and live with greater presence, authenticity, and meaning.
Here’s How I Can Help
My approach is trauma-informed, holistic, and integrative. This means we look at the whole of who you are — mind, body, and spirit — and use strategies that align with your unique needs, goals, and values.
At the heart of my work is a deeply relational approach. I bring curiosity, empathy, and compassion into every session (sometimes a little humor) to create a space where you feel safe, validated, and understood. I do not use shame-based methods. Instead, I focus on building trust and emotional safety so real healing can unfold.
Together, we explore and heal attachment wounds, tracing how early relationships shaped your present struggles and patterns. From this foundation, we work toward creating secure attachment, greater self-trust, and healthier, more fulfilling connections with yourself and others.
